Strategies for touching the face less

This was brought up in the nextdoor forum- GREAT question, because most respiratory infections get to us through our mucosal surfaces (ie eyes, nose, mouth).

Avoiding touching our faces should be one of our HIGHEST priorities!

A response from LG recommended wearing GLOVES to remind us to not touch our face. This was a GREAT idea, but we MUST REMEMBER to not overuse gloves. If they get contaminated, they should be disposed. Unfortunately, in a time of scarce resources, gloves may become harder to find, so please be mindful of resource management.

Also, hair bands may help hair not fall in our faces, to obviate the need to touch our faces. I love low-tech solutions!

This fantastic page was shared with me from a neighbor on NextDoor – thank you!
